How to Write an English Paragraph (Very Easy Guide)

Writing an English paragraph becomes easy when you follow some simple steps. A paragraph is a group of sentences about one main idea. You must write the sentences in a clear, simple way. Below is the easiest method for beginners.

1️⃣ Step 1: Think of One Main Topic

Before writing, choose only one topic.
Example topics: My School, My Best Friend, My Daily Routine, My Village.

Bangla idea → English idea
বাংলা ভাবনা: আমার স্কুল
English idea: My School

2️⃣ Step 2: Write a Topic Sentence

This is the first sentence. It tells the reader what the paragraph is about.

Bangla: আমার স্কুলটি খুব সুন্দর।
English: My school is very beautiful.

3️⃣ Step 3: Write 3–5 Supporting Sentences

Describe your topic. Give details, examples or facts.

Bangla: এখানে অনেক গাছ আছে। শিক্ষকরা খুব ভালো। আমরা প্রতিদিন পড়াশোনা করি।
English: There are many trees here. The teachers are very kind. We study here every day.

4️⃣ Step 4: Write a Closing Sentence

This sentence ends the paragraph with your final thought.

Bangla: আমি আমার স্কুলকে খুব ভালোবাসি।
English: I love my school very much.

💡 How to Convert Bangla to English Easily

Rule 1: Identify the Subject (কে?)

Examples:
আমি = I
তুমি = You
সে = He/She
আমরা = We

Rule 2: Find the Verb (কি করছ?)

বাংলা: আমি খাই = I eat.
বাংলা: সে যায় = He goes.

Rule 3: Keep Sentence Structure Simple

Bangla → English

  • আমি পানি খাই। → I drink water.
  • তুমি স্কুলে যাও। → You go to school.
  • সে বই পড়ে। → He reads books.

Rule 4: Use Present Simple for daily actions

BD students often translate wrongly. Use very basic rules:

I/We/You/They + verb (eat, go, play)
He/She + verb + s/es (eats, goes, plays)

Bangla to English Example Set

Bangla Sentence English Sentence
আমি ইংরেজি শিখি। I learn English.
সে খুব পরিশ্রমী। He is very hardworking.
আমরা প্রতিদিন নামাজ পড়ি। We pray salah every day.

📘 Sample English Paragraph (Easy)

Topic: My Daily Routine

My daily routine is simple and well organized. I wake up early in the morning and pray Fajr. After that, I take a fresh bath and eat my breakfast. Then I study English for some time because I want to improve my speaking skills. At 9 AM, I go to my madrasa or school and attend all my classes with attention. In the afternoon, I take rest and help my family with small work. In the evening, I revise my lessons and complete homework. At night, I spend some time reading the Quran and preparing for the next day. Finally, I go to bed early so that I can start the next day with full energy. This routine helps me stay disciplined and productive.
